Day 1: Arrival in Cancún
Transfer to Tulum and overnight in Cabañas Om Tulum.

Day 2: IKO Level 1 (4 hours)
The day starts with an introduction into kite surfing. This includes first of all information about the equipment. You will learn what kind of different parts there are besides how and when to use them. Safety advice is today’s most important issue. After the theoretical part you will practice how to handle the kite. You will make first „test flights“on the beach. Overnight in Cabañas Om Tulum.

Day 3: IKO Level 2 (4 hours)
Today you will put yesterday’s theory into practice and test how well you can handle the kite already. Afterwards you will splash into the water. At first you will practice the so-called „bodydragging“, handling the kite without the board. Like this you learn how to move with the kite in water and how to estimate the winds correctly. Overnight in Cabañas Om Tulum.

Day 4: IKO Level 2 (2 hours)
After having improved your „bodydragging“ today you will try to learn how to stand on the board in the water. As soon as you have successfully done your first steps on the board you will keep improving this until you are confident enough to pass IKO Level 2. Overnight in Cabañas Om Tulum.

Day 5: Free time
There are no official kite lessons today so that you can relax on the beach or organize the day as you like. For recommendations on what to do around the area contact our colleagues. For the ones who cannot get enough from kiting, it is possible to rent equipment at our kite school and practice more. Overnight in Cabañas Om Tulum.

Day 6: The last session (1 hour)
Today you will have your last kite lesson. You will learn how to shuttle confidently. If you are ready the kite instructor will teach you already some tricks on how to do little jumps. Afterwards you will have time to practice on your own. At the end of the course you will receive the IKO Kitecard and will now be entitled to rent kites yourself for further practicing. Overnight in Cabañas Om Tulum.

Day 7: Departure or individual trip extension
Transfer to the airport.
