Surrounded by unique flora and fauna, Hotel Eco Paraiso Xixim is 62 miles from Merida between the Gulf of Mexico and Celestun. The area is also home to many species of birds and sea turtles along the untouched beach by the hotel.

The hotel has a bilingual tour guide to explore Celestún. Their restaurant offers both Mexican and international cuisine, and fresh fish and seafood daily. Theres a pool, ping pong, pool table, bicycles, kayaks, a museum of nature, and a small library with literature in spanish, english, french, and german.
Rooms
There are 15 spacious, eco-friendly bungalows that have porches with ocean views. The bungalows are equipped with two double beds, living room with sofa, desk, armoire, security safe, bathroom with shower/tub, and hammocks in the terrace. For enviromental reasons, there is no air conditioning but instead ceiling fans are provided and the roof is made of sugar cane reeds to keep the air fresh.
