Hotel Casa del Balam is one of the few original Mexican Art Deco houses in Mérida. The hotel was originally the home of Fernando Barbachano, founder of Mexican tourism. Terracota, iron, Mexican tiles, and dark wood furniture, create a comfortable colonial atmosphere. The hotel has a restaurant, a bar, and a beautiful pool surrounded by lucious gardens.
