Cave & Grotto Diving
Yucatán
The main attraction of this area is tours to the world's largest underground water system, called "cenotes" in Spanish.
Through time, rainwater washed these cavities into chalkstone on its way to the Atlantic Ocean. The original caves grew too heavy, and their ceiling collapsed. As a result, cenotes and sinkholes were created.
Weak current as well as water temperature of about 25 C° turn these caves into spectacular paradise filled with endless possibilities for cave divers of all categories.
